The Medebacher Bucht

Discover the tranquillity of our valley, the nearby Rothaarsteig and the 64 km long Medebacher Bergweg. It introduces you to the beauty of the sun-drenched Medebach Bucht and explains its nickname "Tuscany of the Sauerland".

Follow the white cross on a black background, hike the highest mountains, the 9 villages of the former county of Medebach, over 30 original sites of the history-making Glindfeld monastery and the European bird sanctuary of the same name, home to rare animals and plants.

We will be happy to advise you on the selection of interesting stages and tours and find out for you which bus line will take you free of charge to the start of your hike or back to the Hasenkammer (nearest bus stop approx. 300 m at the Center Park).
